Auction

The auction is one of our main annual fundraisers, typically raising over $20,000 each year to support our club’s community outreach at the local and global levels. While the auction requires every Rotarian to participate in some way, the main committee needs are smaller, requiring the chair(s), and 2-4 other members to support event organization and planning. Essential to the team would be someone: ● Familiar with loading and proofing items ● Responsible for communicating and working with the auction management platform ● To create and distribute the solicitation and thank you letters ● To manage the donor list ● To market the event The auction committee works from June through early November on the event without regularly scheduled meetings. Depending on the role, a committee member could expect to spend 10+ hours on the committee work.
